Finding Your Center

There's a wonderful meditation that I've used for many years. It is based on Psalm 46:10a "Be still and know that I am God."

The meditation is simple. You use the phrase as a mantra that leads you deeper. Essentially, all you do is leave off the last word with each repetition. Make sure to take some time in silence to gain insight into the implications of each variation.

Settle into a comfortable position. Leave the world behind as you seek to shut down that restless squirrel voice that rattles your brain like the noise of a hamster wheel.

Be still and know that I am God.

Be still and know that I am.

Be still and know that I.

Be still and know.

Be still.

Be.
